 Michael Gaeta, DAC, MS, CDN

 

Dr. Gaeta is a visionary educator, clinician and writer in the field of natural healthcare.  His purpose is to create a world of vital, resilient people who find fullfilment through positive contribution.  Michael works with natural health professionals who want to improve their patient care and practice success, through his one year clinicians' mentoring program, live seminars, webinars and distance learning programs. He holds licenses in acupuncture, dietetics-nutrition, massage therapy and is a doctor of acupuncture in Rhode Island. Michael's teaching is informed by 24 years of successful clinical practice.

 Berris Burgoyne, BHSc

Dr. Burgoyne is a renowned naturopathic clinician with 25 years' experience. She owns and operates a highly successful naturopathic clinic in Brisbane Australia and is a senior member of the MediHerb team as a clinical support consultant, technical writer and educator. 

Berris was one of Kerry Bone's first herbal students and has worked closely with him over the past 22 years.  Berris regularly lectures alongside Kerry in Australia and New Zealand.  She has also lectured extensively in USA, Canada, UK and South Africa.

What sets Berris apart as a speaker and educator is her ability to take very complex technical data and transform it into practical clinical information that is easy to understand and apply. This, coupled with her extensive clinical experience, makes her an authoritative and dynamic presenter.

Lowell Keppel, DC

Dr. Lowell Keppel has been inprivate practice for over 25 years and has sucessfully integrated nutritional and herbal therapeutics into his holistic approach. He operates a cash practice with a focus on patient education, including demonstrations, lectures, reading lists and one-on-one counseling. Dr. Keppel has developed a nutritional examination system that has proven effective in obtaining clinical information and communication with patients during the consultation. He shares this methodology with other health care practitioners in full-day seminars. 

Emily Glasser, L.A.c., ACN

Emily Glasser, L.A.c., ACN, has years of training in both functional medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine, which has shaped her unique approach to helping her patients achieve their optimal wellness potential. Drawing from an extensive health and wellness toolkit, she uses nutrition, whole food supplementation, herbal medicine, acupuncture, and therapeutic bodywork to develop individualized treatment plans. She holds a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and is licensed in the state of California as an Acupuncturist and Herbalist and is also an Applied Clinical Nutritionist.  

Stuart White, DC, DACBN

Dr. Stuart White was born in Niagara Falls, Canada. He attended Chiropractic College at Life University where he graduated as Salutatorian, and was awarded the highest honor of clinical excellence (only awarded to one student per graduating class) after setting a record of seeing 1,500 patients throughout his clinical studies. He has extensive training in Contact Reflex Analysis (CRA) and has extensive training and individual tutoring with Standard Process Laboratories for over twenty years. He is a Diplomat of the American Clinical Board of Nutrition and a Certified Clinical Nutritionist. He has thirty six years’ experience treating in excess of 39,000 patients. Upon graduating chiropractic school he opened Whole Health Associates, which eventually became one of the largest nutrition practices in the country.  In 1990 he began lecturing and teaching CRA in the US, Canada, and Great Britain. This was the beginning of his teaching career, which today has spanned to leading over 300 seminars to over 18,000 practitioners. He also conducts a webinar series Mentoring the Mentors which serves as a forum of discussion for practitioners to listen to lectures and have their questions answered.  In 1995 he joined the Complimentary and Traditional Medicine Mission to Romania to assist and generate solutions for the significant number of children with AIDS. His philosophy is that by simply strengthening weakened systems, glands and organs it is possible to increase the life expression of a person. This results in more personal power, greater clarity of purpose, more facilitated transformation, and more capability to join in creativity with others. No matter what challenge is facing an individual (grief, disease, stress, etc.), being potent to meet the challenge is where all sense of fulfillment lives. “My philosophy is that strong people live well, and demonstrate human greatness!” 

Nicole Fodel, DC, MSOM, LAC

Dr. Fodel was born and raised in the Cotswold area of Charlotte, NC and is delighted to be serving her home town. She attended High Point University where she pursued dual Baccalaureate degrees in both Biology and Chemistry and graduated magna cum laude with “All University Honors”. In addition to being very motivated academically, the former gymnast enjoyed running, cycling, and the sport of triathlon. Throughout her training she needed relief from the aches and pains that accumulated as a result of her intense regimen, and this is when she discovered chiropractic care. She competed in many events including the Boston Marathon and Ironman Brazil with the help of her chiropractor. It was at this time in her life that she was inspired to become a doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Fodel made the decision to attend National University of Health Sciences based on its well-regarded reputation, and teaching philosophy. Soon after her education began, she became very interested in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Within the first year of her Chiropractic training, Dr. Fodel decided to begin a Master’s Degree program in Oriental Medicine, and was once again enrolled as a dual degree student. In addition to an outstanding Chiropractic education, Dr. Fodel is grateful to have had the opportunity to study Traditional Chinese Medicine under very highly respected oriental medicine doctors. Dr. Fodel’s unique education and clinical experience truly sets her apart from her peers as she can address a range of health conditions with Eastern and Western medicine perspectives. Chiropractic manipulations, nutritional therapies, acupuncture, Asian body work including cupping, gua sha, tui na, and Chinese herbal preparations are her preferred methods of treatment. Dr. Fodel is known for her genuine bedside manner and first-rate communication skills to best work with her patients to achieve their common goal of optimal health.

Kerry Bone, BSc (Hons), Dip Phyto, FNIMH, FNHAA,
MCPP, FANTA

Professor Kerry Bone is the co-founder and innovation driver at MediHerb, where he serves as Director of Research and Development. In 2016 MediHerb was awarded the American Botanical Council’s (ABC’s) Varro E. Tyler Award for excellence in Phytomedicinal Research.

As part of his educational role, Kerry is Principal of the Australian College of Phytotherapy and also Adjunct Professor at New York Chiropractic College, providing input into their postgraduate applied nutrition program. He also founded the successful Masters of Health Science (Herbal Medicine) course at the University of New England in 2004, and served there as Associate Professor from 2004 to 2012.

Kerry is co-author of more than 30 scientific papers on herbal research, including original research and systematic reviews. He currently serves as the only Australian member of the editorial board of the journal Phytomedicine, the top herbal research journal in the world, and is also on the advisory board of the ABC.

He has also written or co-written six popular textbooks on herbal medicine, including his latest with Simon Mills, the long-awaited second edition of Principles and Practice of Phytotherapy, which was awarded the 2013 James A. Duke Excellence in Botanical Literature Award by the ABC. Other key texts include The Essential Guide to Herbal Safety (also awarded the James A Duke Award in 2006), A Clinical Guide to Blending Liquid Herbs and The Ultimate Herbal Compendium. These texts are widely used at naturopathic and medical colleges throughout the world.

He still maintains a busy herbal and naturopathic practice in Toowoomba, Queensland, where he has been in continuous service for more than 30 years.

In 2015 Kerry’s lifelong contribution to the field of herbal medicine was recognised with his receiving the prestigious Lady Cilento award from the complementary medicine industry in Australia.

Jennifer Franco, CN, ACN

Jennifer Franco owns and operates the Society of Wellness, a nutrition consulting company which implements functional nutritional systems in doctors’ offices around the country. This program works best for practitioners who want to provide a whole food nutritional option to their patients without the doctor doing the nutritional assessment and follow up themselves. Together, true health is created.

As a functional nutritionist, Jennifer conducts Functional Nutrition Assessments with clients in her Southern California offices, as well as virtually across the country. The purpose of a nutrition assessment is to evaluate the functional health of clients and determine their specific needs to further support their personal wellness goals.

Jennifer has an educational background in Kinesiology and is certified in Clinical Nutrition, Applied Clinical Nutrition, as well as an AFAA certified personal trainer. When Jennifer is not in the office seeing clients, she is passionate about educating both the general public and other health care practitioners through teaching seminars, lectures, workshops, writing articles for journals and speaking on national radio programs.

Shannon Roznay, DC

Dr. Shannon Roznay is a Doctor of Chiropractic and specializes in using Nutrition Response Testing to help people improve every area of health. She loves to teach women, men and children of all ages how to improve their health through better diet and natural whole food supplements as well as chiropractic adjustments.

Dr. Roznay has now achieved her purpose of helping people get healthy using nutrition as an alternative to drugs and surgery.  In addition to helping patients at Thrive! she travels across the U.S. teaching other healthcare providers how to use Nutrition Response Testing to help their patients gain whole new levels of health. Her goal is to create a more effective, non-drug health care paradigm for the whole country — starting with you.

Matthew Cucolo, DC

Dr. Matthew Cucolo is a practicing chiropractor and nutritional consultant who utilizes therapeutic nutrition with holistic therapies to best treat his patients.  He is a graduate of the Southern California University of Health Sciences and has continued his training through multiple post-graduate seminar techniques.  Dr. Cucolo is the co-founder of the Meridian Autonomic Testing technique.  He creates dynamic nutrition lectures that connect with his target audience to make the complex understandable and practical.

 

He is a certified Applied Kinesiologist and is pending certification in an Acupuncture program.  He is versed in Neuro-Emotional Technique, Sacral-Occipital Technique and a Shamballa Reiki Master. Dr. Cucolo teaches innovation and guidance to those health care practitioners looking to promote their practices.  He is a practicing chiropractor with a thriving practice in the Central Connecticut area.

Annette Schippel, DC

Dr. Annette Kutz Schippel graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1998. Within months she and her husband opened Schippel Chiropractic in the town of Jacksonville, Illinois. Her passion for pediatrics and nutrition has led to a large family practice with an emphasis on women and children, and clinical nutrition. Her reputation has brought her a continuing flow of patients from across Illinois and the U.S. and other countries. Since opening her clinic, Dr. Annette has obtained countless hours of post-graduate training in pediatrics, sports health, nutrition, and phtyotherapy. Her expertise on these subjects has not only contributed to the success of her holistic practice, but it has earned her the role as a respected public educator in her community. She has also had the privilege of speaking for Weston A. Price, Council on Diagnosis and Internal Disorders, and Parker Seminars on topics such as stress and hormone health.

In 2002, Dr. Annette began studying Restorative EndocrinologyTM and worked as an associate of Dr. Janet Lang's from 2006 until May 2011. She also completed two years of study under Angela Hywood, ND; completing the Tonic Australia teleconference series that specialized in women's health issues, and the general application of phytotherapy and whole food nutrition as they relate to other health issues. She is currently working on completing the Australian College of Phytotherapy course by Associate Professor, Kerry Bone, co-founder of Medi Herb. She attended the 2nd annual conference for Integrative Medicine for Mental Health as part of her ongoing education. She continues to do research and look for ways to improve as a clinician and public speaker.
